Hugo Ekitike has firmly found his feet at Liverpool after just two games.

The £79million signing arrived with a lot of expectation after Arne Slot convinced the Frenchman to snub Newcastle and move to Anfield instead. After a debut goal in the Community Shield, he found the back of the net after 37 minutes of his Anfield bow.

Ekitike has brought his form from Germany with him to England, where he formed part of an exciting Frankfurt attack that also featured Manchester City star Omar Marmoush until January.

The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Stade de Reims, spending time out on loan in Denmark, before asserting himself as a first-team player, scoring 11 goals in 28 appearances for 'The Red and Whites'.

And as a young French player turning heads in Ligue 1 with his 6ft 3in frame and fancy footwork, it wasn't long until giants Paris Saint-Germain came sniffing for his signature.

After making a £30million move, Ekitike found himself down the pecking order at the Parisians having scored just four goals and four assists in his debut campaign, seeing him loaned to Frankfurt, where his career had lift off.

A video uploaded on the Bundesliga's official YouTube channel described him as "poetry in motion" and called him "Europe's most elegant" striker after notching 26 goals in 64 games, including 22 last season. And it's those labels that have even earned him comparisons to Arsenal and France icon Thierry Henry.

However, on the pitch is only half of Ekitike's story and he loves to live the Champagne lifestyle away from football.

The Frenchman's Instagram is littered with flashy snaps from fashion-forward fits to getting behind the wheel of a stunning Ferrari, partying with friends on a yacht and showing off some bold looks, complete with a collection of impressive watches and jewellery.

Ekitike also has the pleasure of his reported partner Dani Meneses to keep him company, who is a model and real estate adviser.

International media claimed the couple were an item when the two were pictured together in Morocco earlier this summer.

Dani is a self-described “devoted professional with her finger on the pulse”. While her Instagram is not for the faint-hearted, with her flooding posts of her in skimpy bikinis on her adventures around the globe and in the modelling world.

Ekitike also remains the consummate professional, as there are lots of snaps of his lifestyle but even more of him training - often solo. A recent upload shows a video of him running shooting drills, curling the ball into the far corner.

It’s a good job too as the Frenchman has had to remain professional amid all the speculation linking Newcastle’s wantaway striker Alexander Isak to Anfield for a British transfer record fee. But Ekitike has started life as promisingly as possible in the Premier League.
