Report: Man City could now do a U-turn and sell 'incredible' player who Guardiola said will…

In recent days, Manchester City seem to have put their foot on their pedal to offload some of their players.

One of them is Jack Grealish, whose Everton side lost to Leeds United 1-0 on Monday in the first game of his season-long loan spell.

Other players have departed the Etihad Stadium on loan as well such as Sverre Nypan, Max Alleyne and Juma Bah.

As far as City’s exits are concerned, Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne and Maximo Perrone have all left, with Galatasaray launching a bid to sign Ederson recently as well.

ESPN claimed Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk is keen to sign a defender who can operate as a centre-back and a right-back, two positions the Swiss colossus has played for City.

Galatasaray set deadline to sign Manuel Akanji

Guardiola referred to Akanji as an “incredible” player and if he were to sign for the Turkish club, he could feel a tinge of disapointment.

However, Pep Guardiola wants more players to leave Manchester City as he would like every player in his squad to feel they have an equal chance of playing to maintain healthy competition within the camp.

Ideally, ESPN revealed that Galatasaray would like to sign a defender, potentially Akanji in this case and a goalkeeper before 2nd September to register players for their Champions League squad.

However, Gala are targeting such new additions before the Turkish Super Lig transfer deadline day on 12th September.
