Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior is reportedly in talks to join Portuguese side Porto after he was left out of the squad by Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners managed to scrape through week one with a narrow 1-0 win against Manchester United, in a game in which United were arguably the better team. Mikel Arteta’s side scored from a corner, with Riccardo Calafiori netting the only goal of the game.

Many Arsenal fans will be concerned around the performance, but at least they managed to get all three points on the day. Their next game comes against Leeds United, but they could see a notable departure before then.
According to the Metro, Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior is in talks to join Porto this summer, after he was left out of Arteta’s squad for their trip to Old Trafford. The Polish defender made 17 Premier League appearances last year, but it looks as though he isn’t in Arteta’s plans this year.
Porto are reportedly keen to sign the defender as they want more depth heading into a season where they will be fighting for the league title, and also competing in the Champions League, alongside Arsenal. Kiwior has an estimated market value of just over £20m, so he could generate a decent cash boost if the Gunners sell him.
Who else could Arsenal sell?
Leandro Trossard is another name who has been linked with a move away this summer, especially considering that the Gunners reportedly want to sign Real Madrid winger Rodrygo to add to their depth on the left-hand side.
Trossard has generated interest from Borussia Dortmund, Fenerbahce, and two unnamed Premier League clubs, and could leave in order to give Arsenal more money to spend on someone like Rodrygo, who has also been linked to Man City and Liverpool.
He has an estimated market value of £19m, and so could, like Kiwior, provide a useful cash boost, and help to free up some wage budget to accommodate more incomings in the future.
