According to a claim in the Turkish media, Besiktas are showing interest in Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia.
It’s been widely reported in recent weeks that Ole Gunnar Solskjær wants to sign a left back and the Manchester United outcast is named as the latest target. That said, with the way Turkish clubs work it will be the club targeting the player rather than their manager.

Solskjær is reportedly not convinced with the Czech defender and now the club have turned their attention to Malacia after also being linked with Rangers’ Rıdvan Yılmaz.
It’s claimed Malacia’s former Feyenoord teammate Orkun Kökçü is trying to convince the Dutchman about a move to Istanbul and has been involved in talks. Kökçü only joined Besiktas this summer, but he’s a boyhood fan of the club and will have pitched a move strongly.
At this stage, there are no details if the plan is to loan the Manchester United player or to sign him on a permanent deal.
Malacia made just one appearance for the Premier League side last season before being loaned to PSV during the January transfer window. He’s contracted until June 2026.
