Chelsea are now advancing in a deal to sign Manchester United starlet Alejandro Garnacho, according to reports - with the clubs now in talks over a potential switch from the north-west to London for the speedy winger, with Garnacho having turned down a move to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
The report by Fabrizio Romano on X (formerly Twitter) states that Chelsea are now 'advancing' in club-to-club talks for Garnacho, as Enzo Maresca aims to bolster his squad - with a deal underway in terms of negotiations with United.
The 'excellent' relationship between United CEO, Omar Berrada, and Chelsea's top brass means that a deal could be easier to complete, alongside the fact that Garnacho only wants a Chelsea move.
But crucuially, the Argentina international has turned down an approach from Munich in the last 48 hours, with 'no chance' of a move, and a potential switch to Stamford Bridge is looking more and more likely as the window passes by.
