Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi has been sent to train with the U23s at the club after his potential moves to Fulham and Leeds United stalled.
That’s according to Sky Italy, [relayed by FC Inter News](https://www.fcinternews.it/in-primo-piano/i-sky-i-inter-riecco-mehdi-taremi-oggi-test-fisici-da-domani-si-allenera-con-la-squadra-under-23-989457), who report that Taremi will be training with Inter Milan’s youth from tomorrow.
They explain that the Iranian striker returned to Milan today for some physical tests but starting tomorrow the former Porto player will resume training with Stefano Vecchi’s U23 side.
He’ll be staying there until his future with the Nerazzurri is resolved. They want the striker to move on and had been hoping to send him to Fulham, who were placed at the head of the queue, or somewhere else such as Leeds United.
Taremi, for his part, is determined to remain in Europe but Sky say there have been no concrete offers yet. In fact, there have only been tentative enquiries from Flamengo, Besiktas, Fulham and Leeds United.
There’s been no movement with Fulham for over a week after it was reported that he was on the way to Craven Cottage. That report made it clear that Taremi needed to reduce his salary to make the move happen.
It appears that is yet to happen and even a word from Iran boss Carlos Queiroz in Marco Silva’s ear hasn’t pushed matters along either, so now he’ll be training with Inter Milan’s U23s.
