Champions League star set for move to England after latest development – Leeds United in the…

The Leeds United attack has seen a huge makeover since last season. A lot of changes have been made with players going in and out of the door at Elland Road.

The Whites managed 95 goals in the Championship last season. Two players played a huge part in that; Joel Piroe and Manor Solomon. For many of his critics, Piroe was not impressive, but 19 league goals and winning top scorer again is something respectable. Solomon came on loan looking to rediscover his form after a long injury layoff; he had 10 goals and 12 assists on the way winning the league title.

Leeds began this season without Manor Solomon, who returned to Spurs after his loan. The depth around the striking position has also been depleted. Patrick Bamford and Mateo Joseph, who provided backup to Piroe, will not be there this season.

Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have been added to bolster the frontline, but it looks like there might be at least one face name in the coming weeks.
