After all the momentum of Monday's good practice for the team, the Philadelphia Eagles get hit in the face with a bad sight.
During the team's 1-on-1 drills at Tuesday's training camp, Eagles rookie safety Andrew Mukuba suffered what looked like a lower leg injury. The Athletic's Zach Berman reported that Mukuba tried to return to practice but was experiencing an issue with his left hamstring, so he was forced to head to the blue tent.

The bad news continued for the Eagles as shortly afterwards, wide receiver Johnny Wilson suffered his own injury after blocking on a run play. Wilson would end up being carted off the field.

This is the last thing the Eagles needed to have to deal with at training camp
Mukuba is coming off a strong performance in the Eagles' 22-13 loss against the Cleveland Browns as he had a pick-six and fumble recovery. He was seen taking more first-team reps in practice on Monday as he is battling with Sydney Brown for the starting job.
If Mukuba's injury is serious, Brown would be the leader to win the job with Tristin McCollum as the backup. McCollum shouldn't be slept on, though, as he has had more playing time in Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio's defense than Brown has.
Wilson had a tough start to training camp, but the last two weeks have been enough for many to believe he will make the roster. That might take a turn now that the Eagles have John Metchie III in the room after the team traded with the Houston Texans to acquire him on Sunday.
This will only futher complicate the wide receiver room with Wilson, Darius Cooper, Ainias Smith, Terrace Marshall Jr., and Elijah Cooks all fighting for potenitally one or two spots on the roster. If Wilson's injury is serious, it could open the door for one of the others to take a spot.
Injuries are a part of training camp, and the Eagles have seen their fair share of injuries. Linebacker Nakobe Dean is still recovering from his injury last year and hasn't practiced at all during training camp. Wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith have been in and out of camp with minor injuries. The biggest injury at camp for the Eagles has been left guard Landon Dickerson, as the team hopes to have him back by Week 1.

Eagles fans will be eagerly awaiting news of what the update is on Wilson and Mukuba. Hopefully it's not as bad as the team hopes.
