Evangelos Marinakis declared earlier this transfer window that Nottingham Forest ‘always win’.
Now, he’s keen to make sure that is the case again when it comes to landing one of Forest’s top targets for this transfer window.
Forest signed Omari Hutchinson on Saturday, with James McAtee following closely behind him.
Yesterday, Arnaud Kalimuendo spoke of his pride at signing for Forest after making it three new arrivals in a matter of days.
Nuno Espirito Santo still wants more players, however, and it would appear as though Marinakis is now personally involved in one key deal.

Evangelos Marinakis now leading Douglas Luiz negotiations
The Forest owner is keen to get this deal done and Luiz has been linked with Forest the entire summer.
It’s hard to know exactly what is going on right now, other than the Reds remain locked in talks to try and get the deal done.
According to Tuttosport, Marinakis is now in direct conversation with Damien Comolli, with the two owners keen to shake on a deal.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Luiz cost Juventus £43 million from Aston Villa last summer, but after a less-than-impressive season, he’s now set to depart the Old Lady.
After just 27 appearances for Juve, Luiz could now be on his way to Forest and with personal terms agreed, hopefully Marinakis can smooth the deal through.
Forest have Luiz contingency plans
Forest have spent a long time on this transfer and with Marinakis getting involved, it’s clear that it’s proving a frustrating one.
Yunus Musah has been linked with Forest and it’s very important that contingency plans are worked on if this one does fall through.
A new midfielder looks like a requirement for Espirito Santo this summer and there will be irons in the fire.
Luiz is quite clearly the number one target, however, and hopefully, Forest can reach a conclusion with the super ambitious owner leading the negotiations.
