TBR Football can confirm that RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons and Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho have both agreed terms with Chelsea, and the club have told the pair they will be at Stamford Bridge before the end of the month.
However, Chelsea have also informed both Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho that they will have to wait for some outgoings.
Chelsea are expecting Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga, Carney Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling, Tyrique George, and Alfie Gilchrist to leave this month.
Simons, for his part, is now expected to be part of RB Leipzig’s squad for their weekend clash with Bayern Munich, which is set to be his final game.

Exclusive: Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons will be Chelsea players
TBR Football can confirm through chief correspondent Graeme Bailey that despite late enquiries from other clubs for Simons – including Bayern and Manchester City – they were told the player is committed to Chelsea.
Likewise, the same is true of Garnacho, who is fully focused on a move to Chelsea.
Bailey states: “Chelsea are virtually there in terms of personal agreements with both Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho. However, they’re not close to deals with the clubs yet – that needs to be underlined.
“Negotiations with Manchester United over Garnacho, in particular, remain difficult, with Chelsea currently lowballing the fee.

“It’s worth remembering that Chelsea previously agreed a cut-price deal for Jadon Sancho before the winger rejected it due to the wage drop involved.”
Chelsea have a clear strategy in the transfer window
Chelsea are adopting a strategy of having two fantastic players in every position, and these two will add to their ever-expanding portfolio of talent.
Garnacho has shown glimpses of brilliance at Manchester United, whilst Xavi Simons has lit up the Bundesliga and the Dutch league in the past.
Todd Boehly’s ever-expanding Chelsea empire gets bigger, and the ludicrous spend tally goes ever higher around Stamford Bridge.
How much these two end up costing, however, remains to be seen.
