Shaquille O’Neal is back in the headlines, this time for something far from the basketball court. The NBA Hall of Famer, known for his time dominating rims with the Lakers and Heat, has turned his attention to his growing candy brand, Shaq-A-Licious, and is taking it to an entirely new stage.

On Monday, Hersheypark in Pennsylvania announced its newest ride: the Shaq-A-Licious Laff Trakk, a neon-lit indoor coaster inspired by O’Neal’s popular gummy line.
“We’re taking the flavor and fun of my Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies and blowing it up into a larger-than-life adventure,” O’Neal said. “From the second you step inside, this ride brings non-stop energy and laughs.”
Hersheypark’s new attraction

Vikki Hultquist, Hersheypark’s vice president, praised the partnership and said the attraction is set to debut as part of the park’s Halloween and Dark Nights festivities.
“This is a one-of-a-kind ride experience that fans can only find here at Hersheypark,” Hultquist said.
The ride will feature glowing visuals, candy-inspired theming, and plenty of twists designed to match O’Neal’s oversized personality.

O’Neal is also getting ready for his role on ESPN and ABC’s NBA broadcast team. He’ll return with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley for the 2025–26 season, which tips off October 21.
