It was reported earlier this month that Spurs were keeping tabs on Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado. The Spain international’s breakthrough season under Hansi Flick certainly raised some eyebrows around Europe, earning him a long-term contract with the Blaugrana as well. However, the report also stated that Barcelona set an asking price of €30m for his services.
But Tottenham are not the only ones willing to land the 21-year-old in the summer. As per MARCA, Wolves and West Ham United have also joined in the race to land Casado in the coming days. Both clubs are closely monitoring the Spaniard’s situation at Barcelona and are willing to pay the asking price that the Blaugrana have set. However, Casado’s focus remains on Barca and the 21-year-old has no intentions of leaving the club anytime soon.

The Spain international might not look intimidating due to his physicality, but he more than makes up for it with his willingness to win the ball back. He can also play as an #8, indicating that he has good passing range and can open up a defence with his lobbed through balls.
