A physiotherapist from Grimsargh led a team of family and friends to Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium in honour of her late father.
Bethan Jones and her female strong team, trekked 50km back to her family home in Grimsargh, to raise a total of £7,500 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
The walk was made in honour of her father, Walter, who passed away in 2023, only eight months after a diagnosis of a brain tumour and terminal lung cancer.

Described by his daughter as a “die-hard Manchester United Fan”, she felt it was “only right” to start the trek at the Old Trafford Stadium.
When talking about her father, Bethan said: “My dad was the most protective, caring, supportive, and generous parent. He always went above and beyond to make us happy, doing everything for our family.”
