Former Golden State Warrior signs with the Magic

A former Golden State Warriors guard has signed elsewhere this offseason, as Lester Quinones has agreed to a two-way deal with the Orlando Magic, per [Michael Scotto of HoopsHype](https://x.com/mikeascotto/status/1957518303905120567?s=46&t=SF-knYTy_vdKy3mmfTQuvQ).

Quinones spent two seasons in Golden State from 2022-24, averaging 4.2 points per game in 41 appearances, all off the bench.

Last season, he split time between the New Orleans Pelicans, and Philadelphia 76ers. In 13 NBA appearances, he averaged 6.6 points and 1.8 assists per game. However, in the G-League for both of those teams, he averaged 21.6 points, 4.8 assists and 6.8 rebounds per game in 41 games.

Quinones will have his work cut out for him to earn a roster spot

Quinones will now play for a roster spot on a Magic team that is loaded with guard depth. He’ll have to compete with the likes of Jalen Suggs, Desmond Bane, Anthony Black, Jett Howard, and Mac McClung for playing time, but regardless, Quinones should provide the team with solid guard depth off the bench.

The Warriors themselves have still yet to make any transaction of any sort, thanks to the ongoing stalemate between them, and restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga. Once a resolution is found on that front, the Warriors can start to ramp up their offseason as they look to contend next season.
