Leeds United have been pursuing Rodrigo Muniz from Fulham for what seems to be an eternity now.
Two new strikers have already been brought to Elland Road this summer in Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha, with both arriving on free transfers.
Nmecha has already proven to be a valuable addition to Daniel Farke’s squad, with the former Manchester City man clinically dispatching his penalty to give Leeds a 1-0 win over Everton on Monday night.
Despite this, a big marquee signing to lead the line would arguably be necessary given Nmecha and Calvert-Lewin’s injury records, opening the door for a potential move for Muniz.

Speaking on Sky Sports before the Whites faced Everton, Marathe spoke about his desire to bring more players to West Yorkshire before the window slams shut, perhaps opening the door for a potential move for Muniz.
“History shows that there’s always a lot of activity in the last few weeks of the window, certainly in the last few days of the window, and we’ll exercise every day that we can,” Marathe said.
