FC Halifax Town have signed midfielder Jay Turner-Cooke, who was released by Newcastle earlier this summer.
The 21-year-old joined Newcastle in 2021 but he did not make a first-team appearance for the Magpies.
He made 12 appearances for Tranmere in 2023 and spent part of last season on loan with Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone.
