Victor Osimhen called Manuel Akanji to tell him to sign for Galatasaray

Manchester City News confirmed that Galatasaray are Gundogan’s dream club if he left the Etihad Stadium this summer.

However, Gala boss Okan Buruk claimed Gundogan will stay at Manchester City until his contract expires in 2026.

Journalist Yakub Cinar has revealed that Victor Osimhen held a phone call with Manuel Akanji and urged him to sign for Galatasaray.

City have already decided whether they will let go of the 30-year-old this summer.

Man City’s stance on selling Manuel Akanji to Galatasaray

Akanji, who Jack Grealish called “rapid” signed for the Sky Blues as recently as in 2022.

However, with Pep Guardiola aiming to offload more players and choosing to keep the defender on the bench and substituting Abdukodir Khusanov to John Stones against Wolves was a sign that he was open to his departure.

Manchester City are open to selling Akanji following Galatasaray and Osimhen’s efforts to sign him.
