Four of our players have been selected for the 2024/25 PFA Women’s Team of the Year.
Mariona Caldentey, Emily Fox, Kim Little and Alessia Russo were all included in WSL's best XI when it was announced at Manchester Opera House tonight, with votes from all women's players helping to select the winners.
Alessia ended the 2024/25 WSL season as joint top scorer with 12 goals, while Mariona registered nine goals and five assists in the top-flight. The latter also scored eight goals in our Women’s Champions League-winning campaign.
Emily was deemed the best right-back of the year during 21 WSL matches and 14 Champions League fixtures, scoring a stunner for us in the north London derby at Emirates Stadium.
Our club captain Kim also made 14 Champions League appearances as well as 20 in the WSL, scoring twice and providing five assists across those competitions. It is her fourth inclusion in the PFA's Team of the Year, following on from 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2021/22.
