Club hatches subtle plan to recruit £20m Man Utd star in September

Manchester United have had a productive transfer window with four signings thus far.

The Red Devils have primarily focused on bolstering the forward department.

They have recruited Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko alongside Diego Leon.

Further signings may depend on player sales, and Jadon Sancho is one of those expected to leave.

Turkish outlet Milliyet today claim that Sancho is one of the most important targets for Besiktas as they seek to bolster the left wing department.

The Englishman is not considering a move to Besiktas at the moment, with his priority set on playing Champions League football this season.

He has already snubbed interest from Roma. Juventus have been in talks with the winger, but they have yet to agree on personal terms with him.

Amidst this, Besiktas have hatched a subtle plan for Sancho and are prepared to wait.

With the transfer windows in the elite European leagues closing on September 1, Besiktas believe they could swoop for Sancho after the deadline.

If Sancho can’t reach an agreement by then, the Istanbul outfit could make an offer with the Turkish transfer window open until September 12.

Sancho more likely to end up with Juventus

Roma recently reached an agreement with United to sign Sancho for £20 million, but the winger has no plans of joining the Giallorossi this summer.

Besiktas are prepared to meet the Red Devils’ price tag for the attacker, but as things stand, Sancho is leaning towards a Champions League outfit.

In our view, Sancho is more likely to end up with Juventus. Talks have been ongoing behind the scenes, and it has been claimed that he could accept a big pay cut.

The Bianconeri are yet to find a formal agreement on personal terms with the player, but they could speed up the process with the transfer deadline approaching.

The Turin giants have a free run at signing Sancho, with Roma and Besiktas not in his plans.

If a move to Juventus were to fall through, the former Chelsea loanee could contemplate a switch to Besiktas, who seem determined to land his signature.
