Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and Arsenal Women's Mariona Caldentey won the top prizes at the 2024-25 Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) awards.
Salah was on a six-player shortlist with Liverpool teammate Alexis Mac Allister, Arsenal's Declan Rice, Chelsea's Cole Palmer, Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes and Newcastle United's Alexander Isak.
The Egyptian international was named as the winner on Monday evening following a vote by members of the PFA.
As a result, Salah has become the first individual to win the PFA men's player of the year award on three separate occasions after previously claiming the top prize in 2017-18 and 2021-22.
Salah earned the award for his outstanding performances in Liverpool's title triumph, which saw him score 29 goals and provide 18 assists in 38 Premier League matches for Arne Slot's side.

Caldentey wins women's prize
While Salah picked up the men's award, Arsenal's Caldentey was named PFA women's player of the year following an impressive debut season with the Gunners.
Caldentey beat her Arsenal teammate Alessia Russo to the prize, as well as Chelsea's Erin Cuthbert, Manchester United's Phallon Tullis-Joyce and the Manchester City duo of Mary Fowler and Yui Hasegawa.
The Spain international scored nine goals and contributed five assists in the 2024-25 Women's Super League season.
Caldentey also netted eight times in the Women's Champions League, helping the Gunners lift the trophy for the second time in their history.

Rodgers, Smith win young player of the year awards
Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers collected the PFA Men's young player of the year award, coming out on top of a shortlist that included Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri and Milos Kerkez.
Rodgers impressed with eight goals and 11 assists in 37 Premier League appearances last term, with his performances earning him an England call-up.
Meanwhile, Arsenal summer signing Olivia Smith picked up the women's young player of the year prize following her superb campaign with Liverpool.
The Canada international scored seven goals in 20 WSL matches to top a shortlist that featured Aggie Beever-Jones and Grace Clinton.
