Packers to welcome Seattle Seahawks for joint practice and biking tradition

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Packers will welcome the Seattle Seahawks to Green Bay this week for a joint practice, set for Thursday, Aug. 21, prior to the preseason game between the two teams on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Thursday will also mark the final open practice at the 2025 Packers Training Camp. The practice will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The Seahawks will begin practice on Clarke Hinkle Field, on the west side of the Don Hutson Center, before joining the Packers on Ray Nitschke Field on the east side of the Don Hutson Center for the joint portion of each practice.

To ensure the Seahawks players experience one of the most storied training camp traditions in the NFL, kids of all fan affiliations are encouraged to bring their bikes to Lambeau Field to offer rides to Seahawks and Packers players alike prior to practice.

To offer rides to the Seahawks, kids are asked to line up with their bikes in front of the Invisalign Gate on the south end of Lambeau Field off of Valley View Road.

Kids can line up as early as 8 a.m., but are asked to be in place by 9:30 for the Seahawks to make their way to practice.

A bike corral will be set up to guide kids and players from the locker room door as they travel east, through the Lambeau Field parking lot and across Oneida Street.

Seahawks players will enter the practice field through a gate in the fence surrounding Clarke Hinkle Field.

During practice, kids can line their bikes up inside Lot 1 to wait for the end of practice, when they will be able to offer their bikes for the Seahawks players exiting through the gate to ride back to the locker room.
