£17m Leeds United target set for England return – Crystal Palace & Everton join race

Leeds United are accelerating their efforts to bring in more players before the end of the transfer window. Daniel Farke wants to bolster their forward line, and the club are working on several deals before the summer transfer window closes on September 1st.

The Whites got off to a perfect start in the Premier League on Monday night. A 1-0 win over Everton at Elland Road has lifted the mood inside the club, and they want to back that result and performance up with some solid incoming business in the transfer market in the coming days.

Crystal Palace and Everton have their eyes on Leeds United target Jonathan Rowe

Jonathan Rowe had a good summer where he was part of the England Under-21 squad that won the European Championship at the end of last season.

The former Norwich City star has been heavily linked with a move away from Marseille, with Leeds believed to be keeping tabs on the player in the ongoing window.

According to TBR Football, Marseille have told the player to find a new club, and he is expected to return to England before the September 1st transfer deadline.

A return to England appeals to him, and Leeds are only among the several clubs that have their eyes on him this summer.

Crystal Palace are looking to find a replacement for Eberechi Eze, who is set to move to Tottenham, and they have set their sights on the Marseille star.

Everton are also desperate to add more creative talent to their team following a dreadful start to the season with a defeat at Leeds.

The Toffees are alive to the possibility of signing Rowe, after Marseille told him to leave this summer.

Leeds are assessing their options

Okafor is set to join Leeds imminently, but his injury issues suggest the Whites could need one more wide player before the end of the window.

Manor Solomon is a huge option for Leeds as the winger is available to leave Tottenham, and he is keen to return to Elland Road before the end of the window.

Rowe is one more option, and while he has been at Marseille over the last two years, he has the experience of playing in England and is keen to return to his homeland.

Leeds will assess their options before deciding whether they need one more wide player before the end of the window.
