Manchester United player needs to bring agents ‘back to their senses’ – Commission demand blocks transfer

On Monday, Corriere dello Sport reported Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho is dragging thing out with AS Roma and not completely ruling the move in or out.

The Italian club’s new manager Gian Piero Gasperini has spoken to Sancho about how he can return to his best in Rome, but that hasn’t worked out yet.

There’s been suggestions that Sancho is holding out for better offers but today’s Gazzetta dello Sport provides more information, and throws another spanner in the works.

The newspaper report the Manchester United player’s agents are proving to be a problem. Due to them, the 25-year-old has not made a final decision about his future.

The Friedkin family are happy to come close to Sancho’s €9m per season wage demand and there is also an agreement in principle with the Red Devils about the terms of an initial loan deal.

The agents are said to be demanding very high commission from Roma and this became clear during the Giallorossi’s talks. Apparently, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have been scared off by that in recent months.

Gazzetta report that Sancho’s entourage is attracted by offers from Besiktas and from Saudi Arabia but Roma are now relying on the player to bring his agents ‘back to their senses’.

Gasperini’s side have also signed Leon Bailey and the winger can also play a role in convincing Sancho, with the two said to be friends.
