Leeds are looking to swiftly wrap up a deal for AC Milan attacker Noah Okafor.

Daniel Farke’s side have missed out on several targets this summer, but a deal for Okafor appears to be almost done at Elland Road.

The winger had looked good in his first season with AC Milan, after moving to Italian giants from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg for £12million in 2023.

He found his minutes limited last season and was sent out on loan to Napoli in February, so Okafor has elected to move to Leeds United.

Okafor spotted on a private jet en route to Leeds

Leeds got off to the perfect start to the Premier League season, with a controversial penalty converted by Lukas Nmecha to win 1-0 against Everton.

Supporters are set for another boost following the win, with Okafor set to arrive.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano posted a photo of the winger alongside his friends on a private jet heading for Leeds.

The Switzerland international is expected to sign for £17.2million and will agree a four-year deal with the Peacocks.

Okafor has seven goals and five assists in 54 games for AC Milan

The winger scored three goals in the 2021/22 season’s Champions League group stage for Salzburg

Overall, the 25-year-old had 14 goals and 11 assists in 34 appearances in the campaign

After Leeds chased the signing of Igor Paixao, the Whites finally appear to have found themselves a suitable alternative.

Okafor will prove a goal threat for Leeds, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha will be licking their lips at the thought of getting on the end of his work in the final third.

Noah Okafor’s move could put a stop to El Khannouss interest

Leeds have been linked with a move for Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss this summer.

The winger had an impressive season in the top-flight, despite the Foxes ultimately getting relegated straight back down into the Championship.

A move for Okafor will likely put a stop to a transfer for El Khannouss or put the potential move on hold.

Leeds could pay around £17million for the Switzerland international, when his Moroccan counterpart is expected to possibly cost up to £30million.

This one should be wrapped up quickly.
