Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback signs with Baltimore Ravens

Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Thomas Graham has signed with the Baltimore Ravens, the team announced.

Graham initially made the Steelers’ practice squad a season ago and stayed with the team through October before being released. Now, he goes to Baltimore, where he hopes to play well enough for a spot on the practice squad.

Graham was a former sixth-round draft pick by the Chicago Bears in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Oregon. He has spent time in Chicago, Pittsburgh, and with the Cleveland Browns. In his career, he has 19 total tackles and four pass deflections, but his inability to contribute on special teams consistently has made his ability to stick on rosters tough throughout his short career.

He lost the starting slot cornerback job to Beanie Bishop a season ago. The Steelers still kept him around, even elevating him from the practice squad for one game. Yet, the team went outside the organization to find some other answers, such as D’Shawn Jamison, for the backup slot cornerback role.

Over his entire career, Graham has made one start and played in 12 total games across his tenures with the Browns and Steelers.
