Arsenal have been dealt an injury blow with Kai Havertz set for a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
The Germany international will undergo tests this week to discover the extent of the issue after missing the club’s open training session on Wednesday.
Havertz’s absence leaves Arsenal light at centre-forward, with fellow forward Gabriel Jesus currently recovering from an ACL injury.

Arsenal assess transfer options after Kai Havertz injury
Viktor Gyokeres is now the only recognised forward in the Arsenal squad and The Athletic are reporting that the Gunners will assess potential options in the transfer market before September’s deadline.
Havertz was Arsenal’s leading scorer last season despite missing a bulk of the season through injury.
The 26-year-old tore his hamstring during the club’s warm weather training camp in Dubai in February and missed the majority of the run-in.
