Leeds United are stepping up their push to reinforce the attack ahead of the September 1 transfer deadline. The club are working on multiple deals as they look to boost creativity and firepower, giving themselves a stronger shot at Premier League survival.
The Whites confirmed the arrival of Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer last week. The 28-year-old has been brought in to bolster their forward line because of his Premier League experience. However, the club are also in the market for one more striker before the end of the window.

Leeds are also closing in on the signing of AC Milan winger Noah Okafor. The Whites have reached an agreement over a deal worth £18m with the Rossoneri, and the Swiss international will undergo a medical today ahead of signing a four-year contract with the Yorkshire giants this week.
The Whites are expecting to sell a few players before the end of the window, but one star has firmly shut the door on any exit talk before the September 1st transfer deadline.

Joel Piroe has ruled out leaving Leeds United this summer
Joel Piroe finished as the Championship’s top scorer last season, and started in Leeds’ 1-0 win over Everton at Elland Road on Monday night.
The Dutchman’s performances have been linked with a return to the Netherlands, where PSV Eindhoven are keen to sign a striker before the end of the window.
The forward admitted that he would one day want to return to PSV, but stressed that he has no plans to leave Leeds before the end of the ongoing window.
He revealed that a few clubs showed interest in him earlier in the window, but Leeds and he are clear about continuing their partnership this season.
Piroe stressed that he is not interested in moving on from Leeds as he wants to test and prove himself in the Premier League.
“It would be great to return to PSV someday”, Piroe told Voetbal International.
“But not right now. I’m not thinking about leaving or what’s going on at other clubs. All I want is to perform with Leeds in the Premier League.
“I understand that a few other clubs approached me in the summer. But the club didn’t want to let me go, and I don’t want to leave at all.
“I want to prove myself in this league. Sunday’s away game against Arsenal, that’s what I’m looking forward to.”
Piroe will have to face increased competition this season
Piroe, more or less, was the undisputed first-choice striker last season once Mateo Joseph struggled in the early part of the campaign. However, that is set to change this season.
Nmecha scored after coming on from the substitute bench. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will push for a place in the team soon, and Leeds are still looking for one more striker.
The Dutchman has Farke’s faith, but he will have to start scoring soon to ensure that he keeps getting selected in the starting eleven.
