Leeds United have plans of making a few deals before the transfer window closes in over a week. The win against Everton on Monday night has inspired hope at the club, but everyone knows the reality on the ground.
Despite recently adding Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the club are looking to add a few more new faces to the squad. Beren Cross thinks a striker, another defender and a midfielder could arrive before the window ends:

“you’ve got striker, full-back, and then you’re looking at a 10, and a winger.
“So, I think we are looking ideally there’s going to be four new signings and you’re hoping that three of them are going to be good starters.
“You would hope. Of course, any further incomings will be dependent on anybody else that goes that at the moment we don’t know about.”
With Noah Okafor’s deal set to be completed, that ticks one of the boxes.

Sheffield United star Gustavo Hamer was on Leeds’ radar this summer. Daniel Farke has been a big fan of the midfielder, and pursued him last summer. It was reported that the Whites held talks over a move, but nothing concrete developed.
According to a report from The Star, Gustavo Hamer is leaning towards a move to the Netherlands. PSV have also held some interest in the Blades star, but are yet to make a move. The report believes a move to the Netherlands is ‘incredibly appealing’ to the midfielder. But if a move fails to materialize, he would be okay staying with Sheffield United in England.
Leeds pursuit of an attacking midfielder
There were initial reports that Leeds could sign Emi Buendia or Gustavo Hamer late in the summer, but things have gone quiet on both ends.
The Whites are in the race for Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss, but the club could lose out on the 21-year old. Crystal Palace have taken the lead in the race to sign the attacker, after Spurs reached an agreement to sign Eberechi Eze.
Leeds could end up looking for alternatives if a deal is wrapped up soon.
