Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys team owner, has often been blamed by many fans and even former players for the team not managing to win the Super Bowl for three full decades. However, retired Cowboys starting quarterback Tony Romo seemed to have a different opinion on the matter as seen in the ‘America’s Team’ series on Netflix.
The Dallas Cowboys last won the Super Bowl back in 1995, and the team has been unable to lift the Lombardi Trophy since then. While the players and coaches have often been criticized for this, Jerry Jones has faced the majority of the heat.

“Those teams have been good enough to win the Super Bowl. They just needed that one play, that one quarter that gets you over the hump. You want to blame Jerry for those things? It’s hard for me to ever think that.” Tony Romo said on ‘America’s Team’ on Netflix.
Tony Romo in the Netflix Cowboys series says he believes Dallas has had teams over the last 30 years good enough to win the Super Bowl. They just didn’t have the key play or key quarter.

Jerry Jones has not only been criticized for the team losing, but also for his unconventional methods of handling players. Recently, the Dallas Cowboys team owner has been called out for fumbling the matter when it came to linebacker Micah Parsons’ contract extension.
Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys have been involved in contract extension talks for several months now. After the Cowboys went radio-silent on him and his agent, Parsons got tired of talks and put in a trade request.
As of now, the Dallas Cowboys are frustrated with two back-to-back preseason defeats and will be hoping to shake off this losing streak in the upcoming matchup this weekend. The team will be soon taking on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.
Jerry Jones’ Cowboys Struggle Against Baltimore Ravens In 2nd Preseason Game
Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys have not managed much luck in the first two preseason games, against the Los Angeles Rams and the Baltimore Ravens. Against the Rams, the Cowboys lost 31-21 and then lost again to the Ravens with an embarrassing 31-13 final score.

The Cowboys have been trying out quarterback Joe Milton this preseason, but the player clearly struggled in the second preseason game against the Ravens. Milton only managed to complete nine passes out of 18 attempts for 122 yards with no scores. The Ravens were definitely a lot better with quarterback Cooper Rush chalking up a solo touchdown with 20 pass completions out of 30 attempts.
