Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys owner, is often portrayed to be a crude and cold person when it comes to decisions and investments. However, in a recent episode of ‘America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys’, a different side, a more human side of Jones was seen. The owner of the most profitable team in the NFL was seen tearing up when he spoke about the defeat against the Green Bay Packers during the 2023 playoffs.
The Cowboys managed to make it to the playoffs but were defeated by the Green Bay Packers. According to Jones, this particular defeat was the worst that the team had experienced in the entire history of their franchise.

“This loss hurt us, in every way, more than any one we’ve ever had.”Jerry Jones says in ‘America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys’.
I believe the Cowboys’ 2023 playoff loss to the Packers (down 48-16 midway through the fourth quarter) is the worst loss in franchise history. Jerry Jones in the “America’s Team” Netflix series: “This loss hurt us, in every way, more than any one we’ve ever had.” pic.twitter.com/qgXG54zUwk

Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys last won the Super Bowl back in 1995 and are yet to come even close to doing so. The Cowboys will be hoping to somehow get to the Lombardi Trophy in this upcoming NFL season, with starting quarterback Dak Prescott leading the offense.
The Dallas Cowboys are currently getting ready for the third preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons in the upcoming weekend. The Cowboys have not been so lucky in the first two preseason games, losing to the Los Angeles Rams and then the Baltimore Ravens. The team will be hoping to shake off their losing streak and start the regular season on a strong note.
Jerry Jones’ Daughter Speaks Out On Micah Parsons’ Contract
On another note, Jerry Jones’ daughter, Charlotte Jones, made headlines a few days back when she announced that contract negotiations with linebacker Micah Parsons are not going so well and are currently frozen.

Micah Parsons still stands by his decision for a desire to trade away from the team. However, no offer from any other team has come by as of yet, nor have the Dallas Cowboys made a bigger offer for the talented linebacker.
Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys have been having contract negotiations for quite some time now, but the linebacker seems to have gotten tired of it after the team refused to have direct conversations with his agent David Mulugheta. The linebacker is seeking a better home for himself in the upcoming season, but fans of the Dallas Cowboys are definitely not happy with him leaving the team.
