Newcastle United have made their stance regarding Alexander Isak very clear.
The 25-year-old finally broke his silence on Tuesday night, with Alexander Isak releasing a statement about his future.
He made it clear that he wants to leave St James’ Park and it is in everyone’s best interest. Isak feels promises have been broken and that the trust cannot be rebuilt.
In response, Newcastle released their Isak statement. They made it clear they would only do what is best for the club, and that the conditions required to let him leave are unlikely to be met before the summer transfer window closes.
If Newcastle can find a replacement and receive a suitable offer for Isak, the coast could be clear for him to leave. However, there appears to be no chance of that happening.

Newcastle United are absolutely not selling Alexander Isak now
While Liverpool could bid for Isak again, the chances of bringing him to Anfield might be non-existent.
That is according to what a ‘senior Newcastle source’ told the Telegraph in the aftermath of the two statements that were released on Tuesday night.
The Telegraph state they were told there is ‘no chance whatsoever’ of Isak being sold by Newcastle United between now and 1st September.

The Sweden international is going to have to stay at St James’ Park, which either means a very long period on the sidelines or rebuilding bridges with the club he has turned his back on.
Newcastle United are open to the latter. They said as much in their statement.
The club wrote: “Alex remains part of our family and will be welcomed back when he is ready to rejoin his teammates.”
PIF’s Alexander Isak stance was clear in March
Newcastle United have tried to facilitate Isak’s exit. Bids for Joao Pedro, Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko prove that.
However, they all moved elsewhere, leaving Newcastle United with a lack of options to replace one of the best strikers in the world.
That is why the Magpies are not going to be able to sell Isak. That is a blow for the player and for Liverpool, but it represents a win for PIF.
Their stance on the 25-year-old has been clear for a very long time. It was reported in March that PIF chief Yasir Al-Rumayyan would not sell Isak under any circumstances.
That has been put to the test, with Isak and his representatives doing everything they can to get a move away from Tyneside.
However, it would appear that the Newcastle United owners are getting their way, whether Isak likes it or not.
