“I feel good, I thank God” – Bournemouth player at airport, set for medical to leave Cherries

Bournemouth winger Luis Sinisterra has landed in Brazil to complete his move to Cruzeiro, with [journalist Samuel Venâncio capturing his arrival](https://www.centraldatoca.com.br/mercado/2025/08/20/sinisterra-desembarca-em-bh-e-fica-perto-de-ser-anunciado-como-reforco-do-cruzeiro/) on Wednesday morning at Belo Horizonte airport for local outlet Central da Toca.

The 26-year-old will now head to the club’s training complex to undergo the final round of his medical checks before signing his contract. Sinisterra had been with Bournemouth in the Premier League but is now set to become Cruzeiro’s first reinforcement of the transfer window.

The player travelled a few days after his Italian agent, Simone Rondanini, who had been in Rio de Janeiro earlier this week. Rondanini was pictured finalising another deal in Brazil.

[Speaking briefly to Central da Toca](https://www.centraldatoca.com.br/mercado/2025/08/20/o-que-disse-sinisterra-perto-de-ser-confirmado-como-reforco-do-cruzeiro-na-chegada-a-bh/) upon arrival, Sinisterra said: _“We’re ready. Very happy to be here and I know we’ll have many joys. I feel good, thank God. I’ll wait for the coaching staff’s decision to play.”_

If cleared in his tests, Sinisterra will be officially unveiled as Cruzeiro’s newest signing.

Those tests should take place in the coming hours, and then Bournemouth and Cruzeiro can decide when they’d like to announce the transfer.
