The Miami Heat are ready to move on from one particular player, and they are hearing all offers about him.
According to Ethan Skolnick, the Heat are “actively shopping” the expiring contract of Terry Rozier.
“So, according to sources for the Five on the Floor podcast (part of the Five Reasons Sports Network) the Heat have been actively shopping the expiring final year of Rozier’s contract (worth $24-26 million depending on incentives) for just about anything, but specifically frontcourt help,” per Ethan Skolnick.

The Heat had high hopes for Rozier when he joined the team in the 2023-24 season, but things haven’t worked out as everyone had hoped.
During his final few months with the Charlotte Hornets, Rozier was putting up 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game.
When he came to the Heat, most of those numbers dipped.
Last season, he was averaging 10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
Rozier, about to start his 11th season in the league, isn’t playing like he once was, which may be a big reason why the Heat want to ship him out.
But it’s not entirely his fault, because it feels like the team has never really made a lot of space for him and doesn’t know exactly how to handle him.
Will he have better luck with another team?
The Heat are hard at work trying to find a suitable squad to take him on, and while they will take anything in exchange for him, they are eager for more frontcourt support.
However, it doesn’t mean they will get it.
Rozier is 31 years old and could still be a helpful player both on the bench or in the starting lineup.
Where will he play next?
