Nottingham Forest make €9m + €2m + 15% offer – Talks now taking place

Nottingham Forest are pushing ahead with their interest in José Ángel Carmona and have now made an offer to Sevilla.

The 23-year-old is a right back, but can also play in central defence. Indeed, he appears to be very versatile given he played at left back for Sevilla in their first La Liga match of the season against Athletic Club Bilbao.

He played 36 matches for Sevilla last season, having spent the previous couple of campaigns on loan at Elche and then Getafe. With a contract lasting until June 2028, there’s no big pressure to sell Carmona but it doesn’t appear Sevilla have put up a wall around their academy product.

El Chiringuito report Nottingham Forest have now made an offer. The Premier League club are proposing a €9m initial payment plus a potential €2m in bonuses and then 15% of any profit from a future transfer.

That hasn’t been rejected outright, and El Chiringuito report the two clubs are in talks based on that offer.
