Mikal Bridges has now played one season alongside his old friend Jalen Brunson with the New York Knicks.
He is prepared to start his second season and give his friend even more support – and more teasing.
Writing on social media, Bridges gave Brunson a hard time, which is typical of their close-knit and humorous friendship.
“Just bc i dont like you, doesnt mean i wont look out for you,” Bridges posted on Instagram, via New York Basketball.

Bridges put up 17.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists during his first season with the Knicks.
When he was picked up by them the summer before, people were elated to see Brunson playing with another member of the old Villanova crew.
Bridges had to shake off some rust, and there were concerns about how well he would fit in with the rest of the team.
His first year with the Knicks wasn’t his best, but he was looking a lot better as the season came to a close and definitely during the playoffs.
There is hope that he will be in even better shape in the new year and will look even more comfortable alongside Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and the rest of the squad.
Bridges and Brunson have been friends since their college days and hold each other in high regard.
Even though they give each other a hard time, there is a lot of love between these two.
They could be playing together and poking fun for many years, because Bridges just signed a contract extension with the Knicks, and it looks like he is here to stay.
