Two of Leeds United’s Premier League games have been picked for TV broadcast in October, meaning a change in kick-off time from the 3pm Saturday slot.
The first sees United’s home clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, August 4 brought forward to a 12.30pm start, after the fixture was chosen to be screened by TNT Sports. However, this could change yet again.
Should Tottenham play away in the Champions League on the preceding Wednesday, the game will be pushed back to an 8pm kick-off on Saturday. This will get confirmed once the schedule of the European competition is confirmed at the end of this month.
The second fixture to be moved is the visit of West Ham United to Elland Road, which has shifted to Friday, October 24 for an 8pm kick off live on Sky Sports. This start time is finalised and will not be changed again.
This means two of October’s three league matches will be shown on TV, the anomaly being the away trip to Burnley on Saturday, October 18 at 3pm.
Having already screened the win over Everton, Sky will show this Saturday’s 5.30pm game at Arsenal and the evening home clash with Newcastle United at Elland Road a week later.
However, all of United’s Premier League fixtures in September remain as 3pm kick-offs. This includes the away trip to Fulham on September 13, the visit to Wolverhampton Wanderers on September 20 and the home clash with Bournemouth the Saturday after.
