The Miami Dolphins are in the middle of the final week of training camp with roster cuts looming. They will hold joint practices with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, the final practice session open to the public. After that, the Dolphins will conclude the preseason on Saturday with a home matchup against the Jaguars at Hard Rock Stadium.
With two and a half weeks until Week 1, many fans were wondering whether their trade acquisition would be ready to go.

When the Miami Dolphins acquired Darren Waller from the New York Giants and lured him out of retirement in July, he was out of football shape and needed time to regain his fitness. As a result, the front office placed him on the PUP list to open training camp. Although Waller has yet to practice in the first four and a half weeks of camp, he has been working off to the side with trainers.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins have activated Darren Waller from the PUP list. He will practice with the team for the first time since he came out of retirement in July. This should allow Waller plenty of time to ease into practice during the ramp-up period, ensuring he is ready for Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts.
