Joelinton has appeared to 'like' an Instagram post slamming his Newcastle United team-mate Alexander Isak. Liverpool have been heavily linked with signing the Sweden international this summer and have already had a £110million bid rejected.
Tuesday night saw Isak issue a statement on social media where he outlined his unhappiness over "broken promises" he believes have been made during his time at Newcastle. This led to the Magpies issuing their own statement a few hours later outlining their determination to keep the player at St James' Park.
Despite the ongoing drama with the summer's most notable transfer saga, Liverpool remain linked with signing Isak before the September 1 deadline.
The Reds are currently preparing to face Newcastle on Monday night in their next Premier League fixture as their title defence continues.
Amid the speculation, a Newcastle fan group, Wor Flags, posted on their Instagram a message in the aftermath of Isak's statement. The message is seemingly aimed at Isak with reference to the 'broken promises' the striker believes have taken place.
"Idolised and adored. No promises broken by the fans that make this club," read the post by Wor Flags.
"We deserve better than the destructive path you’ve chosen. Newcastle United will never be defeated."
And Newcastle midfielder Joelinton has appeared to be one of the thousands of people to like the post on Instagram.

Newcastle are said to value Isak at £150million, and would only consider a sale if they have signed a replacement.
As well as missing out on Hugo Ekitike earlier this summer, Newcastle were frustrated in their pursuit of Benjamin Sesko who chose to join Manchester United.
Isak has three years remaining on his contract at St James’ Park.
