The Tennessee Titans are in the middle of the final week of training camp with roster cuts approaching. They will wrap up the preseason on Friday with a home matchup against the Minnesota Vikings at Nissan Stadium. After that, the Titans must reduce their roster from 90 players to finalize their 53-man roster by next Tuesday.
Many fans wondered if their injured defensive standout would be ready for Week 1, with two and a half weeks before the start of the regular season.

L’Jarius Sneed sustained a season-ending quad strain in Week 6 that required surgery and also underwent a knee procedure during the offseason, resulting in the Titans placing him on the PUP list to open training camp. As a result, the standout cornerback has missed the first four and a half weeks of practice and has yet to pass his physical. Many fans were concerned that Sneed would not be ready for the start of the season and potentially missing the first four games on the PUP list.

According to Ian Rapoport, L’Jarius Sneed has passed his physical on Wednesday and will return to practice in a limited capacity. As a result, the Titans have activated the two-time Super Bowl champion from the PUP list. This should allow Sneed plenty of time to ease into practice during the ramp-up period, ensuring he is ready for Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.
