Critical Injury On Falcons’ Offensive Line

Critical Injury On Falcons’ Offensive Line

August 20th, 2025

Opportunity knocks for Haason Reddick.

Bad news in Falcons camp today, but uplifting news if you’ve already wagered on the Bucs-Falcons Week 1 clash in Atlanta.

Their 6-foot-7 right tackle, big-money veteran Kaleb McGary, was carted off the practice field with what reports say was a leg injury.

With starting Falcons quarterback Michael Penix being a lefty, McGary is his blind side protector. And the 2019 first-round pick is a beast of a run blocker. Obviously, this is a significant injury for the Faclons if McGary won’t be healthy in 18 short days.

Newcomer Bucs edge rusher Haason Reddick will line up primarily on the left side of the Bucs’ defensive line against the right tackle.

This sort of levels the playing field with the Bucs playing opening day without left tackle Tristan Wirfs. Joe will monitor updates on McGary.
