Turkiye controlled the game early and led for the majority of the contest, holding a 66-59 advantage after three quarters.

However, Lithuania did not back down, tying the score in the fourth quarter and eventually taking the lead on a three-pointer from Zalgiris Kaunas sharpshooter Deividas Sirvydis, 78-76.

Lithuania maintained their momentum, executing a couple of strong possessions and leading with 10 seconds remaining. But a costly turnover allowed Turkiye to make a game-winning play with a wide-open slam, finishing the game 84-81.
