Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford has admitted that one Barcelona teammate’s real age is deceptive for his remarkable maturity as an elite player.
Marcus Rashford marked his La Liga debut for Barcelona on the weekend after leaving Manchester United in the summer and signing on loan for the Spanish side.
The 27-year-old England international came off the bench in the second half of Sunday’s 3-0 win over nine-man Real Mallorca at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.
Rashford replaced Barcelona forward Ferran Torres and the United loanee was able to secure important minutes in his cameo performance for Hansi Flick’s men.
The United forward’s return to Old Trafford was short-lived this summer after his loan spell with Premier League side Aston Villa came to an end in June.

The former Aston Villa star has the chance once again to revive his fortunes away from Old Trafford after being axed from Ruben Amorim’s plans at the club.
United loanee Rashford has been able to cross paths with a roster of talented players in Hansi Flick’s squad, including Barcelona and Spain midfielder Pedri.
The Barcelona summer signing has admitted that the 22-year-old Pedri could fool a lot of people over his real age due to his linchpin influence in Barcelona’s team.
“If you didn’t know his age, you’d think he was 28 or 29 because he’s very mature and understands the game perfectly,” Rashford told Spanish newspaper Sport.
“He plays at his own pace, and that makes it easy for strikers to keep up with him.”

Man Utd player Marcus Rashford reveals his major objective at Barcelona for the 2025-26 La Liga season
Rashford’s move to Barcelona could be made permanent in 2026 if he impresses in the 2025-26 season, with United including an option to buy in the deal.
Barcelona have covered Rashford’s United wages as part of the loan deal and the Red Devils have set the former Villa ace’s permanent transfer price tag at £30.3m.
Rashford has said that he could see Barcelona challenging for the Champions League trophy, but he also wants to see the Spanish side hoover up even more silverware.
When asked if Barcelona could win the Champions League, he responded: “Yes, definitely. Not just the Champions League, but everything.
“[Barcelona] had a great season last year. Now it’s about forgetting about it, trying to repeat it, and improving.”
Rashford lost his place in the United starting XI under Ruben Amorim last season and the Barcelona player was deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
