Leeds United could make an offer for Tottenham star ‘soon’

Leeds United fans need to brace themselves for a hectic end to the transfer window. The club could see a flurry of business completed over the next week.

The Whites are rushing to add quality to the squad as Daniel Farke requested. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor are the latest, but they will certainly not be the last additions to the team.

The pursuit of Solomon ended a bit earlier in the transfer window with reports that he was keen to start over with a new manager in charge. But after not playing a part in pre-season and not making the matchday squad in the Premier League opener, the winger might have had a change of heart. Manor Solomon is now said to be open to a return to Elland Road.

And now Spurs are looking to offload him for the right price according to reports. Leeds could be in the running to sign the 25-year old according to Mick Brown of Football Insider.

‘“In terms of Leeds’ interest, he’s obviously a player they know well.

“He was excellent for them on loan last season so it hasn’t come as a surprise to anybody that they’re still looking to bring him back.

“Personally, I think there are better options out there who could improve their squad more.

Daniel Farke has asked for new faces in attack, and Solomon could fit the bill.

“Leeds are in a tricky position though because they do need to strengthen.

“He’s somebody the manager knows and he knows how he fits in the squad, so there won’t be the same issues as they might find with somebody else.

“If they’re going to move for Solomon, I think they’ll be preparing to make an offer soon.”

Bringing Solomon back could be a no-brainer

Daniel Farke has repeated that the Leeds attack lacks the quality Solomon can provide. What better way to replace that than the player himself? He is proven at the top level, and has already showed what he can do playing under Farke.

If all the financial conditions are suited to a move, then Leeds United should not be wasting time over a deal.
