It doesn’t take much to spark rumors in Hollywood.
After Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was seen Sunday with pop star Madison Beer at an L.A. shoot for one of her music videos, speculation has ramped up that the two are dating.
Sites like TMZ and the New York Post posted the photos, and fans were quick to, well, fan the flames. One photo shows Herbert with his arms folded, listening to Beer as she points something out to the signal-caller.
If the two are a couple, it would be another example of a high-profile NFLer dating a music star, following the lead of Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift.

But little information has surfaced to suggest that Herbert, 27, who grew up in Eugene and starred for the Oregon Ducks, and Beer, 26, who has garnered two Grammy nominations, are an item.
Beer, it turns out, did attend a Chargers home game last December. The team posted a photo and video clip of Beer to its Instagram account that Thursday night, as the Chargers rallied past Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos for a 34-27 victory.
One of Beer’s top songs is “Make You Mine,” but it remains to be seen whether that is her intent when it comes to Herbert.
