Bryan Gil and Manopr Solomon have been offered to AS Roma as an alternative to Jadon Sancho, with the latter the favourite for the Italian giants.
According to Forza Roma, Bryan Gil and Manor Solomon have been offered to AS Roma as an alternative to Jadon Sancho. The unwanted Tottenham duo are in the market, finding new suitors, as the Italian giants could be tempted to sign one of them instead of the Manchester United flop.
AS Roma have been making some key moves in the transfer market to get a strong team in place for Gian Piero Gasperini to use. The former Atalanta boss wants to bring Jadon Sancho on priority, although there are plenty of complications before they can sign the Manchester United flop.
Sancho has been reluctant to accept the move to Roma and was also linked with Juventus earlier. However, there’s still no clear rejection from the Manchester United flop, who could still have plenty of other offers on his table before the transfer window shuts.
Roma are hopeful of convincing Sancho, and had a similar problem with Leo Bailey, whom they have agreed a deal with since. The Italian giants are not deterred by Sancho’s wage demands, although it might be a case that the attacker is waiting for much bigger clubs to make their play.
Roma could soon decide on the Sancho chase if the Manchester United flop continued to evade their advances. Unwanted Tottenham duo Bryan Gil and Manor Solomon have now been offered to Roma as an alternative to Sancho, with both those players available for a transfer in this window.
Will Roma sign one of the unwanted Tottenham duo?
Roma will study the prospect of signing one of Bryan Gil or Solomon if they fail with the Sancho chase. Starting with the former, the Spaniard has failed to establish himself as a Tottenham player since his arrival and spent three separate loans in La Liga to former side Sevilla, Valencia and then Girona. He’s currently injured and unlikely to be a key option for Gasperini to consider.
As for Solomon, he has been in good form since last season on loan to Leeds United. The newly promoted side were expected to make a late move, but so far they have shown no signs of returning to the table. He has a good understanding of the tackling elements, and Gasperini might consider him among the Tottenham duo if he were to miss out on Sancho.
