Arsenal poised for £80m selling spree after Eze transfer - opinion

Arsenal have had a promising transfer window with six signings thus far.

They have made an outlay of almost £200 million on new purchases, and the spending spree will extend.

The Gunners have agreed a deal in principle with Crystal Palace to sign Eberechi Eze for £68m.

Eze will probably be Arsenal’s final summer recruit, and the onus could now be on recouping funds.

Jakub Kiwior is presently the most sellable asset within the squad after Leandro Trossard’s new deal.

The latter seemed on the way out, but he has now agreed to a new contract on improved wages.

Hence, Kiwior could be Arsenal’s biggest outgoing, and the club value him at around £26m.

The Pole is ‘determined to leave’ the Gunners after being dropped for the Manchester United game.

Alongside him, Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko could be on the way out in the coming days.

Stuttgart have proposed to pay £17m for Vieira, but the Gunners are holding out for close to £25m.

The Bundesliga outfit don’t plan to better their offer, but a middle ground could yet be reached for £20m.

Zinchenko is presently the third-choice left-back behind Myles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori.

Fenerbahce have proposed a loan-to-buy deal for £2.6m + £8.6m (£11.2m), but Arsenal value him at £17m.

We believe a deal could be sorted if the Turkish club include an obligation to buy.

Aside from the trio, the likes of Reiss Nelson, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Karl Hein could head for the exit door.

Nelson is on the radar of London counterparts Fulham while Lokonga has been linked with PAOK.

Young goalkeeper Karl Hein is attracting interest from Werder Bremen and Levante.

The trio have a combined Transfermarkt value of £23m, and Arsenal will be hoping to secure close to that figure.

We believe Arsenal could recoup at least £80m from the sales of Kiwior (£26m), Vieira (£20m), Zinchenko (£11m), Nelson, Lokonga and Hein (£23m).
