Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo might not have too many fond memories of his time with Tottenham.
His ill-fated spell lasted just 17 matches, and Jamie O’Hara has admitted he’s been surprised by Espirito Santo at Forest.
The Forest head coach has repaired his reputation at the City Ground, with the Reds finishing seventh in the Premier League last season and qualifying for the Europa League.
Forest beat Brentford 3-1 on Sunday to start the Premier League campaign well, and now all eyes will be on the crunch clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Nuno Espirito Santo could now get help from Tottenham
Espirito Santo did the double over Tottenham last season, but they are a more formidable force under Thomas Frank this season.
They beat Burnley 3-0 on the opening day and look like improving on their 17th-place finish during 2024/25.
Tottenham failed in their attempts to sign Morgan Gibbs-White this summer, and since the number 10 penned a new contract, they’ve been looking for a new attacking player.
Enter Eberechi Eze. Spurs have been working to strike a deal for the Palace star and various reports have claimed that a deal is thought to be close.

That would seriously aid Forest as they bid to claim another three points at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon, shortly after the Eagles have played Fredrikstad in the UEFA Conference League.
Forest can lay down a marker by beating Palace
The atmosphere on Sunday will be somewhat toxic, given that it’s Forest who have taken Palace’s place in the Europa League after their lackadaisical approach to communications with UEFA, which led to them breaching multi-owner rules.
As a result, Forest will have to add that into their preparations and be ready for whatever Palace choose to throw at the team during the contest.
If Palace are missing Eze, it would certainly represent a huge opportunity for Forest to claim another three points and lay down a bit of a marker in the higher echelons of the Premier League.
Espirito Santo won’t have too much affection for Tottenham after his time at the club but he will now be desperately hoping they land Eze and give him a big helping hand when it comes to claiming three points against Palace.
