Sean Dyche has predicted the outcome of Manchester City’s clash with Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.
Pep Guardiola’s men host Spurs in their first Premier League game of the season at the Etihad Stadium, and it is set to be a tough one for the Manchester club, given that the North London outfit have been a bogey side throughout the last decade.
City will go into the contest full of confidence after beating Wolves comfortably last weekend, and after Tijjani Reijnders put on a masterclass at Molineux, the Etihad faithful will be excited to watch their new midfielder live for the first time.
Sean Dyche and Sam Allardyce have taken Man City’s performance at Wolves into account heading into the weekend, as the duo have predicted the outcome of the Tottenham match.

Sean Dyche predicts Manchester City to beat Tottenham
Similar to City, Tottenham got their Premier League campaign off to a flying start as Thomas Frank’s men beat Burnley 3-0 on the opening weekend of the season.
The Danish coach is leading a new era at the North London club, and Tottenham will enter a match with Man City without Son Heung-min or Harry Kane for the first time during the Guardiola era, two players who have traumatised the Manchester club in the past.

This may have influenced Allardyce when predicting the score of the contest, with the former England boss going for a City win.
“Me, I’m going for a 3-1 to City,” Allardyce said on the No Tippy Tappy Football Podcast.
Dyche agreed with the outcome of the game, but the former Burnley boss went with a different scoreline, stating: “And unfortunately, as I like Thomas Frank, I’m going to go probably 2-0 to Man City.”
If Man City were to beat Tottenham on Saturday, it would be a great start to the season for Guardiola’s men, and it would have the Manchester club believing that they can challenge for the title this season.
Pep Guardiola’s record against Tottenham
Guardiola will be wary of the threat Tottenham possess heading into Saturday’s clash, with their wingers Brennan Johnson and Mohammed Kudus having the ability to hurt Manchester City.
Spurs have caused the legendary coach many problems throughout the 23 times they have met in the past, with the Spaniard having a record of 11 wins, three draws, and nine defeats against the North London club.
Man City have averaged 1.57 points per game against Tottenham during the Guardiola era, with Liverpool the only Premier League club that the legendary coach has earned fewer points against.
Guardiola teams have scored 35 goals against Spurs throughout the years, but they have conceded just as many, with the London outfit netting 32 times.
