The Midlands outfit recently submitted a bid to sign Rico Lewis before Manchester City turned the proposal down. While Nottingham Forest felt the English international wanted to join them, Pep Guardiola recently suggested a summer departure from the Etihad was not on the cards. So, Cash has emerged as a viable alternative, although his wages may pose an issue for Nottingham Forest.
