Nottingham Forest look to have finally got their man when it comes to Douglas Luiz.
Yesterday, it was claimed that Forest were nearing a breakthrough for Luiz and now it appears that it’s a case of all systems go.
Forest beat Brentford 3-1 on Sunday to put their first three points on the board in the Premier League and the signings have been flowing since.
Omari Hutchinson has joined Forest from Ipswich, with James McAtee also joining his England under-21 teammate at the City Ground.
On Monday, Arnaud Kalimuendo spoke of his pride at joining Forest and now Luiz is winging his way to Trentside to become the latest addition to the ranks.

That suggests that Luiz will get announced in time for him to potentially be in the matchday squad for the trip to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Luiz is going to join Forest on loan initially, with a deal likely to be made permanent later down the line for the midfielder.

Luiz will provide stern midfield competition
Another midfielder will definitely help Forest, given that Nicolas Dominguez is nursing a knee injury.
There is also the African Cup of Nations to think about and Forest will lose Ibrahim Sangare for potentially a month later in the season.
Ryan Yates and Elliot Anderson are other options who can operate in midfield, with McAtee and Morgan Gibbs-White also capable of playing there too.
Getting Luiz through the door makes for an exciting addition to the ranks and now the hope will be that the attention can quickly turn towards landing a new full-back or two.
